What is Interagency?

Lithgow Community Services Interagency is an interactive network of agencies involved in community services in the Lithgow Local Government. These services support each other in responding to community needs. Key roles for Interagency are networking and information sharing, advocating for community needs and participating in local, regional, and state-wide planning processes. The initiation and development of new services in the local area, providing professional development opportunities for services and supporting member agencies are also a part of Interagency's role.

All services or organisations involved in community services in the Lithgow Local Government Area are eligible to be members of interagency. Individuals attending meetings will be representing their organisation. Interagency can organise guest speakers, seminars, forums and workshops for the benefit of services and agencies. The Lithgow Information and Neighbourhood Centre coordinates interagency and any enquiries can be directed to the Community Development Worker on 63522077.Interagency's role.
