Privacy Policy
This privacy policy outlines how LINC manages personal information on this site.
It also describes generally the sorts of personal information held and for what purposes, and how this information is collected and used.
Collecting Service User Information
The Central West CIARR Register ensures privacy of service user information by only collecting minimal personal data. The personal data collected by the register is extracted from the complete CIARR held by individual services that is only disclosed to other services with the permission of those service users:
- The five letter statistical linkage code based on the full name of the service user.
- The service user's date of birth
- The service user's gender
Using and Disclosing Personal Information
LINC does not disclose the personal information of service users of registering services to anyone for any reason - except to approved HACC services searching the register. If services, upon searching the register, require further information about a service user, it is their responsibility to contact the service indicated as the registering service on the register.
Statistical details that are related to name and a count of services, dates or registration details, special needs groups, comprehensive assessment, ciarr left at home etc. may be used from time to time to generate reports that inform LINC and other individuals authorized by LINC in liason with the HACC support officer, of the usage pattern of the register.
